BUILDING OUR NETWORK

They See Blue was founded in July 2018 in California, with the goal of using cultural connection to support progressive South Asian civic engagement.
In the 2018 midterm elections, They See Blue worked to target and engage South Asian voters in the Central Valley of California. That organizing helped flip two Congressional seats in the Central Valley from red to blue, for the first time in decades, as part of a nationwide blue wave.

We’re taking the momentum from 2018 and replicating our playbook nationally as we gear up for November 2020. Our goal is to have a TSB chapter in every major swing state by summer 2020 and to mobilize South Asian voters to ensure Democratic control of the House, the Senate, and the White House.

"We South Asians must show up in larger numbers to stand with other communities against Radical Republicanism, which is a clear and present danger to the American ideals of life, liberty and pursuit of happiness for all people.  America is our home and we cannot allow it to become hostile to our future generations.

I joined They See Blue to cultivate this sense of civic responsibility within our South Asian community, so we may demonstrate that we care about and are an integral part of the American fabric."
